The Proposal Writer develops clear, compliant, and compelling proposal content in support of competitive bids across the organization. Using productivity-focused and generative AI tools, standardized processes, and a centralized content library, this role synthesizes subject matter expert (SME) input into high-quality, evaluator-friendly narratives that improve proposal quality, speed, and win outcomes. You will work closely with Proposal Managers, Capture Leads, and SMEs to ensure all content aligns with solicitation requirements.

To be eligible for this role, you must have or be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Status Screening (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident AND have resided in Canada for the last 5 consecutive years).

• Proposal Content Development (AI-Supported)
  • Draft and refine proposal sections for first- and second-stage submissions using AI-assisted tools.
  • Translate complex technical and business input into clear, customer-focused narratives.
  • Maintain consistent tone, structure, and messaging across deliverables.

• Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure content meets solicitation instructions, evaluation criteria, templates, and formatting standards.
  • Use AI-enabled quality checks to review structure, grammar, consistency, and compliance.

• Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with Proposal Managers, Capture teams, and SMEs to gather and validate content.
  • Support the integration of win themes, differentiators, and customer insights.

• Content & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain and enhance reusable content in the centralized proposal library.
  • Contribute to improvements in templates, workflows, and AI-enabled writing practices.

• Strong professional writing skills, ideally in business development, consulting, communications, or technical environments.
• Formal education in a related field such as:
  English, technical writing &/or marketing/communications;
• Have a high proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Adobe Professional
• Comfort working with AI writing tools, standardized templates, and content libraries.
• Experience producing structured content aligned to defined criteria, rubrics, or specifications.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into a cohesive narrative.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced results driven environment with multiple projects and tight deadlines
• Keen attention to details, proven organizational and time management skills

• Experience with proposal automation or content management platforms (e.g., Responsive, SharePoint).
• Exposure to marketing communications, proposal coordination, or project-based work.
• Interest in AI-enabled workflows or continuous process improvement.
