Job Description The Product Manager is the product expert within the organization and is responsible for planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, working closely with each department to ensure the product’s success. In this role, you will be responsible for determining product specifications, reviews, analysis, and recommendations.
Responsibilities
Build a list of product goals and key considerationsWork with the client to extract additional product-specific informationPrepare a market analysis that provides key insights related to the product’s category/industryPrepare a comprehensive competitive analysis reportPrepare an opportunity review that ensures all team members are working towards a common goalCommunicate the needs/benefits as they relate to the target marketExecute feature reviews – a formal process to confirm all features are well defined and bring value to the productAssist with the creation of usability studies and make key recommendations that augment UXAssist with creative brainstorming to guide teams towards successful productsAssist with the preparation of a product budget to guarantee that the product is within scopeAssist with the creation of revenue projections and selecting the correct business model to maximize a product’s potentialHelp identify additional soft benefits to the company and its clientsPrepare a product road map that demonstrates where the product is going and how it will get thereConduct internal product reviews focusing on key deliverables and goalsAssist with scope/feature changes in a timely manner and alert key stakeholders of major impactsHelp balance budgets and timelines by tweaking the product road mapAssist with task/bug triages with core team membersGuide and consult with game designers, creative directors, and stakeholders to guarantee successHelp determine the analytics strategy and work with the analytics team to create meaningful reportsBecome a product evangelist, campaigning for its success both internally and externallyPrepare and execute short-term and long-term product strategiesCreate and compile recommendations for improvements based on feedback and analyticsPrioritize recommendations for stakeholder reviewProduce a product lifecycle report measuring success and suggesting next stepsCreate a “Current Market Landscape” report highlighting industry trends and opportunitiesReview current intellectual property and assess potential for new products or underperformersFormulate strategies to enhance Fuel’s product development division and improve processesMentor and coach team members on approaching projects from a product perspectiveQualifications

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline
- Ability to achieve goals with minimal supervision
- Successful track record of defining and launching excellent products
- Experience in the gaming industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
