We are hiring an Automotive Service Technician at Gascho Automotive.

• Hourly wage: $28.00 to $35.00 (to be negotiated)
• 44 hours per week, full time, permanent
• Day shift only
• Starts as soon as possible

• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Coach and instruct apprentices

• Engine repair
• 4‑wheel drive
• Electrical and electronic systems
• Diagnostics
• Alignment, steering and suspension
• Brake system
• Fuel and emission system
• Ignition and electrical system
• Drive‑train components
• Imported vehicles
• Front‑end components
• Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system

• Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
• Experience an asset
• Bondable; driving record check (abstract) required
• Valid driver’s licence; must drive a manual‑transmission vehicle
• Fast‑paced environment, hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity
• Personal suitability: accurate, client focus, dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, reliability, team player
