About us:The position operates within the Drinking Water and Environmental Compliance Division, East Region, which is responsible for protecting and supporting clean air, land, and water – including the delivery of safe drinking water – through provincial oversight and the administration of compliance and enforcement programs.
About the jobIn this role, you will:
- provide administrative assistance and support to the management team and staff
- respond and refer general inquiries and process all mail services
- provide document processing services and manage document flow and approvals
- implement and maintain an electronic file classification system database and records management system
- provide human resources services (e.g., recruitment support)
- support procurement, forecasting and monitoring of financial transactions
Mandatory requirements for bilingual position:
- You have oral French language skills at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.
- knowledge of financial systems.
- office administration policies, procedures, guidelines and practices.
- knowledge of records management practices, procedures, filing systems and retention schedules.
- the ability to obtain knowledge of relevant sections of FIPPA and internal directives, guidelines, policies, and procedures.

- coordinate small and large meetings/events and functions.

- coordinate multiple demands, prioritize workload and meet timelines.
