They are looking for a Bookkeeper/Administrator to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of a reputable law firm. This position is in-person and will involve a combination of bookkeeping responsibilities and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and financial skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Must have experience using PCLaw and Bookkeeping in a legal environment Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and invoicing.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in budget planning and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Greet clients and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages.
- Maintain and organize legal documents, records, and case files.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks.
- Monitor and order office supplies and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure the office runs efficiently.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or financial management, preferably in a law office or legal environment.
- Proficiency in PCLAW accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
