Our client is a long-standing leader in the power generation industry with operations across Canada. We are currently searching for a Bilingual Accounting Manager to support the Director of Finance with month-end accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Ottawa. In this position, you will prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, support fixed asset schedules, and assist with acquisition-related accounting activities.

You will also be responsible for journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and external financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and hold a CPA designation (or be actively working towards it). You should bring at least 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-branch or multi-department environment. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, IF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) will be key to success.

Fluency in both English and French is required. Our client is looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is eager to contribute to a collaborative, growing team.

What will make you stand out:
- CPA designated or enrolled in the CPA program (CFE completed)
- Fully bilingual in English and French

- Experience with ASPE and/or US GAAP financial reporting
- Background in public accounting and/or field service organizations
- Proven success in a high-volume, multi-entity environment
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, IF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent ERP system
