BGIS – Accounting / Reporting Manager II (Future Opportunities)

The Accounting/Reporting Manager is responsible for the preparation and coordination of planning, reporting, cost control and client interface. This position supports all accounting and reporting functions, including the needs of Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions staff members.

• Support the preparation and coordination of planning, reporting, cost control and client interface.
• Ensure diligence for work initiation and authorization, work implementation and control, inspection and documentation of completed work, and payment.
• Ensure data integrity through the management of data quality reviews and the implementation of data management processes.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Support the collection of revenues, maintain records of revenues for each portfolio and comply with the requirements of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) and associated federal Receipt & Deposit of Public Money Regulations, 1997 (SOR/98-128).
• Provide additional support to the Portfolio Financial/Reporting Manager as required.
• Support the preparation and analysis of various financial reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

• University graduation or professional certification in accounting and computer systems with 3‑5 years’ experience in a financial accounting position.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• Ability to lead and be a team player.
• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• At least one of CPA, CA, CMA or CGA.

This is a regular, full‑time position with a salary range of $73,600 – $92,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
