Our client in the Ottawa east area is looking for a skilled, detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant to join their growing organization on a full‑time, permanent basis. This organization is within a growing sector and offers opportunities for professional growth and development, all within a dynamic, collaborative work culture.

• High volume full-cycle processing of Accounts Payables and Receivables
• Account and credit card reconciliations
• Processing payments, preparing bank deposits
• Processing and recording of expenses
• Processing full-cycle Payroll including deductions and remittances
• Posting of journal entries
• Working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
• Assist in the production of Financial Statements
• Preparing reporting as needed
• Assisting with Month End closing
• Provide administrative support as required

• Post‑secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience in full‑cycle Accounting
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (English essential)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self‑starter, collaborative

The salary range for this opportunity ranges from $58K to $63K depending on experience.
