Adams County Integrated Health Care Services has an opening for a Crisis Interventionist. This position provides delivery of Mobile Crisis Response throughout Adams County. Crisis Services include but are not limited to Crisis Telephone Triage, Mobile Crisis Response (MCR), and referrals to a Designated Crisis Responder when an individual needs an Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) evaluation and investigation. The primary goal of MCR is to divert individuals from jail, emergency departments, and involuntary psychiatric treatment.

MCR will provide crisis intervention, engagement, supportive counseling, information and referral, linkage to requested/necessary resources and appropriate community-based mental health and chemical dependency services and follow-up to individuals and families of all ages in community-based settings. This position includes work during and after hours. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with an emphasis in Social Science and 1 year experience in working in human service field.

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with individuals on a one-on-one basis or collaboratively as part of a team. Individuals must possess a valid driver’s license, successfully pass a background check and a driving record check. Bilingual Spanish encouraged to apply. This position is a full-time, benefited position with a starting monthly salary between $52,513.20 - $54,935.28 DOE.
