Requirements
- 1+ years of experience required
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
- Current NYS licensure
- Completion of ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, IV Therapy, and Critical Care Courses required within the first year of employment
- Current CPR & BLS card
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department setting.
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options.
