About the Role:
Health Saviours is seeking a Obstetrics/Gynecology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Oswego, NY to start ASAP. This assignment is for a 8 weeks contract. You will be working 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift and on Nights. This position offers a pay range of $65.00 to $78.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. As an OB/GYN RN, you'll care for patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and other women's health needs.
This role puts you in a position to help patients immediately while being part of a collaborative medical team.

Requirements
Requirements
Active New York RN license (must be in hand at start).
Minimum 1+ years of OB nursing experience (labor room & postpartum required).
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
Nursery trained & labor room trained.
Fetal monitoring certification preferred but not required.
Prior experience with Meditech EMR and GE fetal monitoring equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and compassionate nursing care in labor & delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings.
Manage a Level 1 nursery, caring for stable newborns and coordinating with pediatric providers.
Administer OB-specific medications including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and routine fluids.
Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate using GE and Philips monitors.
Care for additional female populations (GYN, female ortho, and bariatrics) as census allows.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Document all care accurately using Meditech and GE systems.
