Night Shift Travel RN – Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in Oswego, NY: 12-hour nights, 6-week contract. Join our Emergency Department team and deliver quality, compassionate emergency care on the shores of Lake Ontario.

• Location: Oswego, NY 13126 (Oswego County, Central New York) — New York nursing jobs, travel nursing opportunity

• Unit: Emergency Department (ED) — ER nursing, triage, trauma care
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night Shift ER Nurse
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2210/week

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience required (ER RN, Emergency Department Nurse)
• Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current CPR & BLS certification
• Completion of ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, IV Therapy, and Critical Care courses required within the first year of employment
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced ED
• Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and prioritize care based on acuity
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies, including trauma and critical care situations
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments as ordered
• Monitor and document patient status, vitals, and clinical progress according to ED protocols
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care

• Work within a collaborative, supportive Emergency Department team (ED nursing)
• Gain experience caring for a diverse range of emergency cases and trauma patients
