Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Urology

Location: Oswego, NY 13126

Duration: 8-week contract

Shift:

• 5x8 hr shift Monday–Friday

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with office and medical procedures

• Perform patient rooming, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for visits

• Support urology care, including catheterization as needed

• Process patient referrals and assist with scheduling

• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Provide clerical and nursing support under the supervision of the Practice Coordinator or provider

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program

• Current New York State LPN license

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Strong typing, clerical, and computer skills

• Ability to work under direct supervision in a clinical office setting

Current Certifications:

• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with urology catheterization

• Homecare LPN experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office or outpatient setting

• Knowledge of third-party insurance processes

• Strong customer service skills and PC/CRT data entry experience
