Production Associate - Packaging
Ossian Smoked Meats Corp. is seeking motivated individuals to join our packaging team! Production Associates in the packaging department are responsible for sealing, boxing, and palletizing processed products in a fast-moving environment. The packaging department is responsible for achieving production goals while maintaining a high level of food safety and quality.
Requirements- Product inspection
- Packaging equipment operation
- Saw operation
- Product bagging and labeling
- Product boxing and palletizing
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation to/from work
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Able to stand for the duration of a shift, perform physical work, and lift up to 60 pounds
- Food safety and sanitation
- Meat processing equipment operation
- Smokehouse operation
- Production logistics
- Wholesale food manufacturing
