CNC Operator I - 3rd Shift at Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions
Cadrex is searching for a CNC Operator I who will operate both manual and CNC machines according to program and product specifications to produce small to medium sized components as either a finished product or as part of another larger product to be assembled.
Key Responsibilities- Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.
- Positions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices.
- Operates hand‑held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools.
- Operates lift equipment as needed.
- Uses precision measuring tools as required.
- Recognizes various material types used in the department and adjusts equipment if needed.
- Recognizes worn tooling and changes machine settings as required.
- Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspections.
- Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including in‑process or carbon copy production sheets.
- Basic understanding of machining principles and CNC machine operations.
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in CNC machining.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts as required.
- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma.

- S‑Th; 11:00 pm – 7:30 am.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, vibration, and moderate noise levels which may require hearing protection.
- Requires standing, sitting, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling, and speaking or hearing; occasional climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds; vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
