Job Overview

Operate standard equipment in test and process environments, following prescribed work methods including PPAP systems and GR&R methodology. Maintain proper laboratory and test records, gather and apply technical data to enhance production and quality, and perform various testing and inspection duties.

Responsibilities
  • Operate standard equipment in test and process environments.
  • Follow prescribed work methods, including PPAP systems and GR&R methodology, maintaining accurate records.
  • Gather, correlate, and apply technical information to improve product quality and production.
  • Perform functional and material testing (e.g., filled tank drops, bursts, fill studies).
  • Conduct random dock audits and inspections.
  • Perform wall dimensional checks and rotozip cutting on welded tanks.
  • Set up and evaluate tests on products and components.
  • Compile data into charts such as histograms and capability charts.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify using standard or non-standard techniques.
  • Complete assignments as directed by supervisors, ensuring quality controls.
  • Qualifications
    • Experience with metrology laboratory and inspection preferred.
    • 3+ years of related work experience preferred.
    • Excellent computer and communication skills.
    • Associates Degree or equivalent education and work experience.
    Physical & Working Conditions
    • Ability to lift/carry/push 35-160 lbs regularly, using assistive devices as needed.
    • Ability to travel, including air travel and long car trips.
    • Work involves standing, walking, lifting, and bending in a manufacturing and laboratory environment, with potential exposure to heat, cold, fumes, and chemicals.
