Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative role located in Ossian, IN. The successful candidate will manage customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, providing product information, managing customer accounts, troubleshooting problems, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities- Processing orders received via phone, e-mail, fax or other methods
- Obtain customer’s needs by answering phone calls
- Address customer questions regarding inventory levels, basic product information, or general order status.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the complaints of customers, determining the cause of the problem, and escalating the problem to the appropriate department.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related projects as needed by management
- Protects the ethics and values of the company
- Successfully completes other job assignments related to the care and maintenance of customer accounts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing customer interactions, both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively and efficiently.
- Organizational skills to manage customer accounts, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide excellent service under time constraints.
- Prior experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Computer
