Job Overview

Instrument Pipe fitters for permanent position with client based in Ossett, immediate start subject to interview.

Basic Salary (37 hours) £36,750 per annum. Monday to Saturday any overtime above 37 hours paid at 1.4 x hourly rate. Sundays paid at 1.8 x hourly rate.

• Spool fabrication using mechanical forming techniques.
• Pressure testing and flushing.
• Work in the workshop in Sunderland and on various projects offshore and internationally.
• Weekend working required at times both in workshop and onsite.

• Good understanding of engineering drawings and standards.
• Proven experience of metric compression/formed pipe work, twin ferrule pipe work, 37° flared flange and JIC 37° flared pipe work preferred.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic circuits advantageous.
• Experience of pressure testing and hot oil flushing advantageous.
• Available to work overtime and weekends when required mandatory.
• Good communication skills and understanding of H&S requirements through industry.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Forklift truck licence advantageous.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Comfortable working outside in all weather.
• Professional attitude.
• NVQ Level 3 in Pipe fitting required.

• SBT training.
• Experience of using hand benders and MJI 10.
