The Role

We are looking to recruit a QA Technician to monitor, control, and report on products, processes, and quality systems, ensuring safe and responsible performance of duties.

Person Specification
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Code of Practice and product protection practices are followed, including hygiene duties as directed.
  • Analyze finished products and work in progress (WIP) within the production department.
  • Audit plant/process, HACCP, Quality Control, and process control records for each department.
  • Carry out non‑routine analysis of NWF or competitor products as required by QA Supervisor / Manager or Technical / Production Management.
  • liaise with other functions and departments to ensure preventative/corrective actions prevent recurring quality problems.
  • Provide detailed disposition instructions for failed products and raw materials, supporting the Production Supervisor as needed.
  • Conduct non‑routine analysis and investigations as requested by the Management Team.
  • Work within company quality procedures, review and challenge where applicable; assist in maintaining all aspects of quality work instructions and forms for the QA Department.
Additional Information

Based at the Ossett site. This is a permanent position working on average 42 hours per week, over a 28‑day period, rotating through 12‑hour day and night shifts. Flexibility is required due to the nature of the business.
