Overnight Data Entry LTC Pharmacy Technician

Company: Thrifty White Pharmacy

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Wednesday). On‑shift: 9 pm to 7 am. Training: 6‑8 weeks, 8 am‑4:30 pm. Reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into computer systems.
• Maintain prescription information to ensure accurate records.
• Troubleshoot rejected claims or billing issues.
• Place outbound phone calls and faxes to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare partners.
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and modification of job responsibilities as required.

Physical Demands: This position may include long periods of sitting and requires the ability to talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, and lift or move up to 40 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently a pharmacy technician registered in the state of Minnesota or willing to complete a Pharmacy Technician training program within 6 months of hire.
