Our client is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to perform on-site welding inspections, review welding procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role involves working directly with clients, evaluating weld quality, improving processes, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities- Conduct on-site welding inspections and quality assessments.
- Review welding procedures and verify compliance with AWS, ASME, API standards.
- Provide recommendations to improve weld quality and efficiency.
- Support and mentor client teams on welding best practices.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain detailed documentation.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
- Active AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- 5+ years of welding and inspection experience.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and industry standards.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, SMAW, or FCAW processes preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
