Job Summary: Restoration Technicians are responsible for performing a wide range of restoration activities, such as water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and other types of damage to residential and commercial properties. They will be using restoration processes and equipment, such as drying, dehumidification, and air purification systems. Restoration technicians help people recover after they’ve experienced property damage from a disaster that has occurred in their home or business.
The technicians will assess damages, recover what is still salvageable, and dispose of what is not. Afterward, they can begin cleaning the property, removing unsalvageable debris, and beginning repairs.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Technicians are generally expected to be physically fit (being able to carry 50 pounds is a general weight that will be lifted and carried on the job while participating during demolition, carrying equipment, reconstruction, etc.), have excellent communication skills amongst the team and customers, and are great at working as a team. While higher education isn’t required, having certifications or licenses in safety programs and having previous experience in construction is a plus, but we also offer getting certified while with us!
Technicians can expect to be dealing with customers that have lost part or all of their house, so experience in customer service is beneficial as well.
