Position OverviewAs an Embroidery Finishing Team Lead, you make the 4imprint brand come alive by leading and directing the embroidery finishing department in order flow and prioritization for on‑time delivery of our products to our customers.
Typical day (core responsibilities):
- Coordinate daily with manager/supervisor to assess workload, priorities, staffing needs, and progress toward goals.
- Train new and temporary employees, document process changes, and support onboarding and development plans.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical or workflow questions and temporarily fill in for the manager when needed.
- Lead assigned projects and participate in process/quality audits to support continuous improvement.
- Communicate schedules, assignments, expectations, and feedback to team members.
- Address team concerns, promote a respectful and collaborative culture, and recognize positive performance.
- Prioritize and assign orders to meet in‑hand dates, verify shipping methods, and communicate issues or resolutions with customer service.
- Monitor and document production capacity and partner with the supervisor to ensure quality standards for embroidery, garments, and packaging.
- Remove embroidery backing, trim excess threads, and complete final quality inspections.
- Sort garments/items by color and prepare them for the next processing step.
- Fold, tag, bag, and package products according to work order instructions.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including completing paperwork and box labels.
- Support operators by unpacking, staging products, and assisting with machine setup.
- Serve as backup for embroidery machine operators when needed.
- Participate in training, seek development opportunities, and assist other areas when time allows.

Someone who enjoys change and trying new things, is fluent with computers, alphanumeric data, and working with small objects (i.e. threading needles).
Required Education & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent. 4imprint is committed to learning and curiosity. We’ll work with you on your journey to earning this equivalency within your first year of employment.
Experience working in a fast‑paced production environment.
Prior experience with quality control. Refer to the physical requirements form for details on the physical requirements of this role.
