JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Description Paint Line Lead- 1st Shift - ACI Oshkosh Advanced Coatings Inc. is seeking a qualified Production 1st Shift Line Leader to manage the Painters on a moving Paint Line at our Oshkosh, WI facility. ACI Core Values:

You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. You will be responsible for overseeing and motivating team members on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees the paint line operations for designated department(s) and shift(s).
  • Have a working knowledge of commercial and military paint application principles and requirements.
  • Maintains work schedules and establishes job assignments to the appropriate personnel to meet production goals.
  • Plans and executes production schedule day to day appropriately.
  • Is a partner in quality by ensuring parts are painted within specifications using methods established by paint manufacturers.
  • Coordinates rework or touch up of parts with employees, Quality Associates and other Team Leads as needed.
  • Informs maintenance, management and other Line Leads of malfunctioning equipment or issues with the building.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can adapt to changes in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
  • Provides guidance to new employees and instructs all employees on process changes.
  • Supports the company’s focus on innovation, efficiency, flexibility and quality in the specialty coating industry.
Qualifications
  • Experience leading paint line operations and managing team members in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of paint application principles for commercial and military applications.
  • Strong planning, scheduling and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.
