Overview

What does full time FLOAT position mean at Covey?

• We guarantee you full time hours
• This person would cover shifts at all Covey locations/programs (Appleton to Oshkosh area)
• Must be flexible with the WHEN you work. Things happen and people call in so that means the shifts we need coverage for are a little unpredictable.

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, toileting, eating) based on individual care plans
• Sharing meaningful moments—baking, crafting, exercising, or just enjoying conversation
• Administering medications (we’ll train you!)
• Documenting daily activities and progress
• Creating a safe, welcoming environment—inside and out
• Building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families
• Sharing joy through conversation, creativity, and connection
• Making someone’s day—every day

• A heart for service and a desire to help others live full, joyful lives
• No experience needed—we’ll train you!
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality
• Willingness to complete CBRF certification and training within 90 days (don’t worry, we’ll pay!)
• Ability to pass a background and driving record check
• A valid driver’s license (required for some 1st shift roles)
