We are seeking a skilled Facility Engineer to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facilities. This hands‑on role involves maintaining building systems, coordinating vendors, supporting preventive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. the ideal candidate has practical experience in facility operations, HVAC, electrical systems, and building maintenance
.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and mechanical systems
. - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent system downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services (HVAC tune‑ups, electrical repairs, fire safety, landscaping, janitorial).
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and support internal EHS programs.
- Assist with emergency response planning, building evacuations, and drills
. - Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, cost reduction, and process improvements
. - Support office layout planning, workspace requests, and facility helpdesk tasks
. - Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance schedules, equipment logs, and compliance records
.
Education:
- High school diploma, associate degree, or technical certification.
- Degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field is a plus but not required.
- 3–5 years in facility operations, maintenance, building management, or related technical work
. - Hands‑on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred.
- Ability to read equipment manuals, technical diagrams, and basic floor plans
. - Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures
. - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor coordination skills
. - Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
