We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical design, particularly with 3D modeling and Solid Works. This role involves working independently on medium‑scale projects and requires excellent communication and time‑management skills.
Responsibilities- Operate independently on medium‑scale assigned projects.
- Fully model and create parts and assemblies in Solid Works for various projects.
- Create and revise fully detailed engineering prints.
- Provide technical direction for prototype builds and initial builds as required.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication.
- Create and release projects through the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
- Conform to drafting and department standards and processes.
- Lead designers as appropriate on jobs and projects.
- Proficiency in operating a 3D design tool, preferably Solid Works.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design.
- Understanding of engineering drawing guidelines and standards.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Knowledge of electromechanical switch gear.

- Mechanical aptitude.

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year.
