Job Description

As a Packaging Operator, you will work on the packaging line, handling tasks such as capping, cartoning, and palletizing. You will ensure compliance with GMP and work collaboratively with others to package pharmaceuticals. Your role will also include inspecting packaged parts for expiry dates, appearance, and completeness, and ensuring SOPs are followed. You may need to move products weighing up to 50 lbs and adapt to a fast-paced environment by transitioning between different lines.

Documentation of tasks and computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line, including capping, cartoning, and palletizing.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Collaborate with team members to package pharmaceuticals.
• Inspect packaged parts for expiry dates, appearance, and completeness.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Move products weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Adapt to fast-paced environment and transition between different lines.
• Document tasks accurately; must be computer literate.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience working on a packaging line or similar environment.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Experience in GMP or similar work environment.
• Experience in packaging, inspection, and pharmaceutical processes.
• Ability to follow SOPs and GMPs.
• Computer knowledge and proficiency in reading/writing in English.
• High school diploma.

This is a Contract position based out of Whitby, ON.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Whitby,ON.
