About Us:
The Centre of Excellence in Treatable Traits is dedicated to improving respiratory health outcomes through research, education, and community engagement. We are seeking a motivated Project Officer to support our translation and dissemination initiatives.
Role Overview:
The Project Officer will be responsible for translating research findings into accessible formats and disseminating them to diverse audiences. This will include updating our online toolkits, development of new content and updating of existing content. This position requires collaboration with internal teams and some external stakeholders to ensure effective communication of our work.
Core responsibilities include:
• Translate complex research findings into clear, accessible content for a variety of audiences, including practitioners, policymakers, and the general public.
• Develop new written, visual, or multimedia content for online toolkits and other communication channels.
• Update and maintain existing content to reflect the latest research and organisational priorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., research, communications, IT) to ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging.
• Engage with external stakeholders, where relevant, to ensure content meets user needs and expectations.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of digital tools and resources that support knowledge dissemination.
• Monitor and improve the usability and accessibility of online content.
• Planning and coordinating activities related to content production, dissemination and event planning.
• Tracking and reporting on dissemination impact and engagement metrics.
· Provide administrative support across all aspects of the wider program, including scheduling, documentation, reporting, and coordination of meetings and activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Health, Education, or a related field.
· Proven experience in health communication, knowledge translation, or related roles.
· Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
· Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team environment demonstrating mutual respect and working collaboratively.
· Knowledge of, and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
