Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Emergency Room (Rotating Shifts 9 AM – 9 PM)

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians in the emergency room.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions to identify urgent needs.
  • Assist with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing essential support and interventions.
  • Educate patients and their families about post-treatment care and health management.
Qualifications
  • Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Prior experience in emergency or acute care settings preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS are a plus.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
