Overview
Job Summary Provides support to the operation of the Laboratory by assisting with pre-analytical and post-analytical processes resulting in optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Performs phlebotomy and specimen collections as required.
- Assesses and maintains quality of specimens.
- Communicates with patients and customers.
- Assesses specimens.
- Performs urine drug screen collections and industrial screening as required.
- Supports lifelong learning
- Completes assigned goals.
- Minimum
Required:
Hospital phlebotomy experience.
- Minimum
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy.
