Engineer, Manufacturing

This position is responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining efficient, cost-effective production processes and systems. The focus will be on process flow, equipment, and quality, using their experience and education to eliminate waste, troubleshoot issues, and support new product launches. While ensuring safety and compliance and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize output and meet internal and external customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

* Process Development:
Create, analyze, and optimize manufacturing methods, workflow, and equipment.

* Improvement & Efficiency:
Apply continuous improvement (CI) tools (Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce costs, minimize waste, and boost quality and capacity.

* Equipment & Tooling:
Design, source, install, and validate machinery, tools, jigs, and fixtures.

* Troubleshooting:
Provide daily support, resolve production issues, and perform root cause analysis for failures.

* Documentation:
Prepare reports, process flowcharts, standard work, and capacity studies.

* New Product Introduction (NPI):
Assist in establishing new part processes and parameters for new product launches. Collaborate with design teams to ensure new products are practical and economical to manufacture.

* Collaboration:

Work with R&D, design, production, and management teams.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

4 year - bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering and 2 - 5 years industrial experience.
