HE Sports Lecturer

Join our esteemed University Centre, recognised for high-quality teaching with a Silver Award in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2019. We offer a blend of academic and vocational higher education courses validated by prestigious institutions like the University of Greenwich and Canterbury Christ Church University. As an HE Sports Lecturer, you will be part of the Faculty of HE Health, Education, and Sport, primarily focusing on our Pearson HNC and HND Sport programmes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver weekly classroom sessions at the Orpington campus, with occasional practical sports sessions at the Bromley campus.
  • Provide high-quality teaching and assessment for our HNC and HND Sport programmes, supporting adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Guide and inspire learners to develop the skills and confidence needed for future study and employment.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, combining classroom-based and practical activities to ensure students successfully complete their studies and progress.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a tutor in higher education, preferably in sports education.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to adult learners.
  • Strong understanding of the Pearson HNC and HND Sport curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in teaching and sports education.
