Role OverviewThe successful candidate will teach and support pupils aged 7‑19 with autism and complex needs such as emotional behavioural difficulties and ADHD. The curriculum is broadly mainstream, leading to accredited qualifications and preparing students for adulthood and the world of work.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with specialist teams to support pupils with autism, ADHD, and other SEN.
- Maintain accurate record‑keeping and report on pupil development.
- Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies as required.
Qualified Teacher status (QTS or equivalent) is required. Preferably you have experience teaching and supporting students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and emotional behavioural difficulties.
