Salary: 46k plus overtime + company benefits

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.30. NO SATURDAYS!

Flame Recruitment is looking for a Vehicle Technician with previous experience as a Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Mechanic, Car Mechanic or Car Technician in a main or franchised dealership or an independent workshop. You will need a full UK driving licence and tools.

• Perform diagnostics, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles.
• Complete vehicle health checks and documentation accurately.
• Liaise with service advisors and ensure clear communication with customers.
• Uphold manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks.
• Mentor junior technicians where appropriate and lead by example.

• Experienced Vehicle Technician level qualifications.
• Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.

• Motor Vehicle Technician background within the UK automotive industry.
• Level 3 qualification in City & Guilds or IMI.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
