Express Employment is looking for an Industrial Mechanic.
Pay: $18 - $20/Hour
Benefits: Holiday Pay, 401K, Health Care Insurance. (Employees must meet handbook requirements.)
Job Description- Engages in the maintenance and repair of machinery and various equipment, including installing gumagamit, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining facility equipment.
- Must be mechanically inclined with industrial machinery knowledge.
- Be able to work with tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Visually inspects equipment, diagnoses issues, and locates causes of malfunctions; removes and repairs defective parts.
- Start and test machines and equipment to determine operating status.
- Dismantles machines and equipment for repair and maintenance.
- Proficient in using power and hand tools.
- Must be able to read layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
- Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, lifts and hoists, cutting tools, welders, torches, and other various tools.
- May set up and operate a lathe, drill press হাসপাতান, and grinder to fabricate necessary parts for repairs.
- Inspects machinery and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions, and repairs as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Guidelines.
- Compliance with Cal-OSHA and the company's Injury Illness Prevention Program, Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs.
- Ensuring procedures and work instructions are understood.
- Reporting food safety problems to authorized personnel.
- Verifying monitoring activities that have been completed to meet food safety and quality specifications.
- Yearly review of the food safety system.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the Quality system and the Food Safety system.
- Must have 2 years of current experience.
- Computer skills and proficiency with software packages.
- Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot using equipment drawings and technical data.
- Ability to work independently and achieve objectives without supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain permanent files.
- Operational knowledge of a Powered Industrial Truck (forklift).
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral/written instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical capability to walk, climb stairs, and bend for up to 8 hours a day.
- Capability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, kneel, and twist.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work other shifts and days when needed.
