Facility Maintenance Assistant 2 (Sales)
Summary/Objective: The Facility Maintenance Assistant II performs remodeling, repairs, installations, and general maintenance of company properties such as office complexes, rental units, travel trailers, and houses. The role requires basic to intermediate construction skills—including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems—and the ability to multitask across multiple projects to ensure efficient operation and upkeep. A self‑starter who can complete assigned jobs with little supervision is essential.
EssentialFunctions
- Perform general maintenance on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, painting, drywall, and floor finishes, including tile.
- Execute remodeling, repairs, and installations across company properties.
- Multitask across projects, provide progress updates, and submit daily reports of completed tasks, pending work, and material needs.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Clean job and construction sites daily and maintain hygiene using appropriate supplies, including environmentally friendly products.
- Identify and address cleanliness, safety, or maintenance concerns, reporting major issues promptly to the Facility Maintenance Manager.
- Implement and follow all workplace safety policies and proactively minimize hazards.
- Read measurements with a tape measure and perform basic math for construction tasks.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
- Collaborate and communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure project completion meets high standards.
- Work independently with integrity, dependability, and strong attention to detail.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a variety of environments including offices, rental units, shop facilities, houses, travel trailers, and outdoor properties. Frequent transitions between indoor and outdoor settings occur throughout the day. Exposure to varying temperatures, inclement weather, dust, fumes, and other environmental factors typical of maintenance and repair work is common. Tools, mechanical equipment, and cleaning chemicals—including environmentally safe products—are used regularly.
Confined spaces, heights, ladders, uneven surfaces, and tight spaces are encountered. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required. Work is usually fast‑paced and may require adjusting to shifting priorities or responding to urgent maintenance needs.
