RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with two shift options: 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:45 AM to 8:30 PM

• Schedule includes 3 shifts per week (3/12's)

• On-call responsibilities: 1 twelve-hour call shift (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and 2 twenty-four hour weekend calls (6:00 AM to 6:00 AM) per six weeks

• Provide care to Post Anesthesia Care patients

• Work collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel

• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care delivery

• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel

• 2+ years PACU experience required

• Required certifications:
Arizona nursing license, BLS, and ACLS

• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Position created to provide coverage for staff leave
