Location:

Northwest Healthcare Tucson, 2025 W. Orange Grove Rd., Tucson, AZ 85741.

Shift: Per diem (as needed), day shift.

The Admissions Liaison serves as part of the overall admission team, working collaboratively across multiple departments to confirm insurance benefits coverage and ensure compliance with admission policy.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon arrival.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate and timely patient admissions.
• Verify patient information, demographics, insurance, and medical records to ensure compliance.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing information about the admission process, care expectations, and patient rights.
• Support the coordination of care by initiating orders, treatments, and diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR, adhering to facility standards and regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to the admission process.
• Provide patient education on facility services, treatment plans, and post-admission care.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, safety, and infection control requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

• 1–3 years of nursing experience in an acute care or admissions setting.

• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills for patient placement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems for accurate documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Registered Nurse (RN) – State or Compact State Licensure.
• Occupational or Physical Therapy license (optional).
• BCLS – Basic Life Support required.

Annual salary range: $59,404.00 – $74,254.00 (Tucson, AZ). Hourly range: $17.00 – $20.00 (Greater Tucson Area).
