Custodian – Full‑time – La Posada at Pusch Ridge

Join our team as a full‑time custodian at La Posada Green Valley, AZ. La Posada at Pusch Ridge is a brand‑new upscale senior living community in Oro Valley, AZ, and we’re seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of our campus.

Under the direct supervision of the Environmental Services (EVS) Director, the custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the facility across common, ancillary, and public areas.

• Perform routine maintenance and corrective cleaning of assigned areas, including:
  • Removing trash to designated compactor or dumpster.
  • Removing recyclable materials to appropriate site.
  • Sanitizing environmental surfaces.
  • Replenishing supplies.
  • Dusting, vacuuming, and rearranging furniture orderly.
  • Dust‑mopping or wet‑mopping floors.
• Maintain hard floors through stripping, waxing, top‑scrubbing, recoating, burnishing, dust‑mopping, and wet‑mopping, and moving furniture as needed.
• Maintain carpets through shampooing, extraction, bonnet buffing, vacuuming, and furniture movement.
• Use proper chemical mixing and application for hard‑surfaced floors, carpets, upholstery, and walls.
• Operate equipment safely, including rotors, extractors, wet/dry vacuums, high‑speed burnishers, and battery‑operated carpet/floor machines.
• Utilize and maintain equipment properly, completing assignments in a timely manner.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate personal responsibility, respect for self and others, and adherence to department policies.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, staff, guests, and family members.
• Observe safety precautions at all times and maintain excellence in customer service.
• Adjust to changing situations and needs; participate in other duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.
• Participate in product evaluation and maintain age‑specific safety precautions.
