Operating room assistants, also known as surgical technologists or operating room technicians, assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgical team members. They ensure the operating room is clean before, during, and after surgeries. Typically, they complete accredited training via a certificate, diploma, or associate's degree program and may obtain voluntary certification for employment.
ScheduleShift: 4/10's - 6:30 am - 5:00 pm.
With call: 2-3 shifts per week from 5:00 pm - 6:30 am.
One weekend of call per month, starting Friday at 5:00 pm through Monday at 6:30 am.
- Certified First Assist with experience in Orthopedic FA and General Surgery DaVinci Robot FA cases.
- Must have: AZ License, ACLS, & BLS.
- Experience with EMR:
Cerner.
