We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary team at a leading acute care hospital in Tucson, Arizona. This opportunity is ideal for a local candidate or a travel therapist looking for a rewarding experience in a dynamic healthcare setting with diverse patient needs. You will play a key role in restoring mobility, function, and quality of life to patients in the acute care setting.

Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury in an acute care hospital setting.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Document treatments and patient progress in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Educate patients and caregivers on continued care and safe mobility post-discharge.

Participate in discharge planning and contribute to patient outcomes and hospital quality metrics.

Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate or Master’s preferred).

Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred (new grads with clinical acute care rotations encouraged to apply).

BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Travel candidates must meet relevant travel contract requirements.

Schedule: Full-time;
Day shifts (some weekend rotation may be required).

Setting: Inpatient Acute Care – Medical/Surgical, ICU, Orthopedic, Neurology, and more.

Pay: Competitive hourly rate or travel stipend package (if applicable), based on experience.
