The Role At Asmall Hall, we are now searching for a new Chef who will produce nutritious and well-balanced meals that meet our high standards and our resident’s satisfaction.
In this role you will be responsible for:
-Working alongside the Wellbeing Coordinator to provide food for the various events that take place throughout the group
-Providing dietary requirements to meet the needs of our residents
-The presentation of the food served is to a high standard including the use of moulds for those on soft diets
-Monitoring and maintaining consistent food standards during all stages of production and service
-Adhering to the HACCP procedure according to Food Safety Management documentation
-Maintaining the correct use of the company’s regulatory framework and cleaning procedures
-Ensuring quality control and hygiene systems are achieved
-Purchasing all food and related products using company nominated suppliers (when required)
-Ensuring minimum waste Qualifications & Experience You must hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in catering Experience with in the care sector is essential Experience of the nutritional needs of our elderly residents ie: fortified dietary requirements Employee Benefits We offer an ‘Earn While You Learn’ scheme

Your hourly rate will be reviewed again on the successful completion of your 6 month probationary period.
Payable on completion of a successful 6 month probation.
