A happy and sociable young boy who lives at home with his family and their pet dog in Ormskirk. He is reliant on his care team for all aspects of his day‑to‑day care and uses a manual wheelchair for mobility. He is unable to communicate verbally and does so through gestures, facial expressions, and eye contact.

Provide personal care and manage his clinical interventions throughout the day, ensuring comfort and safety. Support and participate in activities he enjoys, encouraging him. Remain attentive to his non‑verbal cues for effective communication.

Because of the nature of our vacancies, clients may request either female or male staff. This particular client has requested female care staff.

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
