Overview
We are seeking an outstanding and committed teacher to lead Religious Education at the heart of our Catholic school. The successful candidate will play a key role in nurturing pupils relationship with God, their moral development, and their love of learning, while shaping the strategic direction of the subject. Working closely with the Headteacher, Senior team, Governors and Chaplain, you will contribute significantly to the Catholic life of the school, supporting our mission to provide a transformative Catholic education rooted in our mission to inspire all our young people to bear fruit.
This is an exciting middle leadership opportunity for a practitioner passionate about Catholic education and the formation of young people.

Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status
- Degree
- Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies
- Experience of teaching Religious Education in a Catholic school
- Experience of, and ability to, devise and teach appropriate courses throughout the school
- Experience and a sound knowledge of R.E. programmes of study
- Qualified teacher who has undertaken appropriate training and has the necessary knowledge to undertake the duties of the post
- Management experience
- Ability to assess the strengths and weaknesses of R.E. programmes of study
- Coordination and delivery of PHSE, RHSE and Citizenship
