 Full Time

Shift:  Night Shift 6:45pm-7:15am with every other weekend rotation.

Location:

Fish IPU/Orange City - could cover the Palm Coast/Altamonte inpatient unit if census requires.

Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy, and enforces safety regulations Implements care per the Plan of Care. Provides direct patient care to ensure comfort and meet changing needs. Educates patients and families on end-of-life care and issues.

Prepares patients and families for approaching death. Promotes patient comfort through appropriate interventions. Provides emotional support to patients and families. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed. Assesses and monitors patient conditions regularly. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Documents patient care activities in compliance with Medicare regulations. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning. Maintains accurate and timely patient records.
