Order Selector (Electric Pallet Jack / Reach Truck Operator)
Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)
Duration: Approximately 6-Month Contract (Temp-to-Perm)
Schedule:
- Training (1 week): Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Overtime 1–2 hours as needed based on workload)
We are hiring experienced Order Selectors for a fast‑paced, production‑driven warehouse environment. This role requires strong experience operating stand‑up equipment, including double electric pallet jacks and reach trucks. Candidates must be able to work efficiently, meet productivity standards, and work overtime when required.
Responsibilities- Operate double electric pallet jack, single pallet jack, stand‑up forklift, and reach truck (reverse steering)
- Select and palletize customer orders accurately in a dry warehouse environment
- Label product using SOS label technology
- Build and secure pallets to prevent tipping
- Stage completed pallets on the correct dock locations
- Stretch‑wrap pallets and prepare for shipment
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip equipment inspections
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and productivity standards
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed
- 2–4 years of experience operating a double electric pallet jack (required)
- Experience operating stand‑up forklift and reach truck
- Order selecting experience in a production environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly (team lift for 50+ lbs)
- Ability to meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Basic math and English communication skills
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends or holidays if required
- Stable work history (no unexplained employment gaps)
- High‑reach picking experience
- Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse labeling systems
- Dry goods warehouse (hotel amenities; non‑freezer environment)
- Electric pallet jacks (single & double), stand‑up forklift, reach truck
- SOS labeling system
- Fast‑paced, production‑based setting with performance standards
Candidates must have hands‑on experience with required equipment and be ready to perform in a high‑efficiency warehouse environment.
