Traveling District Porter

Location: Orlando, FL (home base, travel across the Southeast US as needed)

About Us: Community Concierge Services (CCS) is a nationwide provider of doorstep waste and recycling collection for apartment communities, serving more than 160,000 units across the country with a dedicated team of over 700 employees.

Position Overview: As a traveling trash collector you will traverse the Southeast to collect trash at various apartment communities. You must be able to travel up to 75% of the time, often driving for prolonged periods and occasionally flying. When not traveling, you will handle service in the Charlotte market. A company truck, fuel card, and per diem for food and lodging will be provided.

• Use workplace messaging (Slack) to receive routes and plan each night’s service at 5 pm.
• Arrive on time at the first assigned community (typically 6–7 pm).
• Collect trash and recyclables from residents’ doorsteps, including upper‑level units requiring stair access.
• Transport waste with leak‑proof totes to the pickup truck and then to the designated compactor or disposal site.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at compactor/dumpster areas before ending the shift.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents.
• Submit nightly service documentation, including resident violations, audit results, and time‑stamped photos.

• No travel restrictions required.
• Two weekends on call per month.
• Shifts average 5–7 hours per night, 25–35 hours per week, with potential additional days based on availability and performance.

• $175 per day on weekdays, $150 on weekends.
• $50 per day per diem for overnight travel; lodging paid by the company.
• W2 employment. Pay issued via direct deposit on the 5th and 20th of each month.

• Smartphone with active data plan for communication and task verification.
• Physical fitness: lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, work in varying weather without assistance.
• Work ethic: positive, dependable attitude, commitment to high‑quality service with professionalism and integrity.
• Clean driving record and at least 5 years of experience.
