Purpose
Ravago’s Domestic Transportation Department supports ~30 business divisions and manages a transportation budget of ~$125M and ~150,000 shipments annually. As a Tracking & Tracing Coordinator, you will ensure any delays or deviations from scheduled pick‑up or required delivery are communicated promptly to affected parties. You will follow up on all shipments, manage delay reason coding to identify root causes, and collaborate closely with the Transportation team to reschedule pickups, arrange redeliveries or expedites, and keep all stakeholders informed.
Areasof Responsibility / Tasks
- Act as the primary contact for Account Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Product Coordinators, and Management regarding delayed shipments.
- Track and trace all shipments within a timeframe that allows proactive responses to delays.
- Maintain accurate delay reason coding and update it continuously.
- Complete follow‑up on all pickups and deliveries promptly to enable timely action by the transportation team.
- Ensure the entire month’s delay codes are completed by the following week for monthly reporting.
- Support carrier and warehouse relationships.
- Provide rotational after‑hours coverage for 2–3 weeks per year.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)
- Knowledge of transportation modes and warehouse operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years in transportation and/or warehousing preferred.
- Licenses /
Certifications:- Valid driver’s license – required.
- Language:
- Proficiency in English required.
- Bi‑Linguistic – Spanish is a plus.
- Must be adaptable to a shared space with constant noise, with or without a private office.
- Hybrid in‑office and/or work‑from‑home role.
- Regular verbal communication, reading, and comprehension.
- Typing daily on a consistent basis.
- Push, pull, and lift to 40 lbs on a weekly basis.
- Travel by foot, car, bus, airplane, or other means for long and short periods.
- Setup desk equipment, including lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
