Driver Helper Job Description
Position SummaryThe Driver Helper assists delivery drivers by loading, unloading, and delivering products to customers on assigned routes. This position ensures timely, accurate, and safe delivery of items, while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the driver in loading and unloading products, merchandise, or materials from delivery vehicles.
- Deliver items to customer locations, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during each delivery.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs (may vary by employer).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
